Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the 92 Force Support Squadron, Fairchild Inn, Fairchild AFB, WA. Receives and confirms room reservations by letter, telephone, email, or personal contact. Registers and assigns rooms to guests, makes and issues room keys, and may escort guests to rooms as needed. This is a Flexible (Intermittent) position; Guaranteed 0 hrs; may work up to 40 hrs per week - depending on the needs of the facility Responsibilities Receives and confirms room reservations by letter, telephone, email, or personal contact. Maintains and sells sundry sales items to patrons. Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Ensures required information is received from guest and entered into guest folio. Prints backup reports from property management system. Ensures housekeeping status of rooms is updated. Records and notifies appropriate person/organization of maintenance problems reported by guests. Ensure front desk area and lobby remains clean. The purpose of this position is to perform facility maintenance, motor vehicle operations, grounds maintenance duties, and related tasks for all lodging areas. This is a Regular Part time position; guaranteed 20-34 hours per week; depending on the needs of the facility. Responsibilities 1. Performs visual inspections of the exterior and interior of all lodging facilities. Informs supervisor of major and minor discrepancies found. 2. Performs minor construction and repair on existing structures involving standard measurements, specifications, instructions, and basic shop mathematics. Installs exterior and interior trim using preplanned materials, such as baseboards, and molding. Replaces broken or missing acoustical ceiling tile, broken door and window trim, window screens, stairway steps, wooden porches, door jambs, and other damaged wood components. 3. Prepares wood and metal surfaces to be painted, mixes and prepares coating material, and applies coating materials (for example, paints, varnishes, and shellacs).
